Passport Sports announces Kyle Krustangel — head coach of the Yakima Valley Pippins and NWAC Coach of the Year — as the coach for our Thanksgiving 2026 Dominican Republic trip. A few individual spots still available.
The dugout has its leader. This Thanksgiving in the Dominican Republic (Nov 21–28, 2026, Boca Chica & Juan Dolio, for 14u/15u players), our team will be led by Kyle Krustangel — and we could not be more fired up to have him guiding our players.
Head Coach — Yakima Valley Pippins, West Coast League.
In his first season as head coach at Yakima Valley College (2016), Kyle led the Yaks to their 21st NWAC baseball championship. He was named NWAC East Coach of the Year, NWAC Coach of the Year, and ABCA Regional Coach of the Year.
Kyle played in the WCL for the Spokane RiverHawks and later coached the Wenatchee AppleSox (2017–2019) before being named head coach of the Yakima Valley Pippins in 2019. He returns to the Pippins dugout for 2026.
A three-year letter winner and two-time All-NWC selection at Whitworth University, Kyle brings a player-first approach rooted in his own experience as a college and summer league athlete.
From head varsity coach at Bridgeport High School to leading AAA American Legion programs to seven years as a college head coach, Kyle knows how to get the most out of young players at every stage.
We still have a handful of individual spots open for the Thanksgiving 2026 trip — and now that the coaching staff is locked in, we expect them to move quickly. No full team required: your player joins as an individual, and we build rosters from individual registrations so every athlete gets real game time coached by Kyle and his staff. Questions?
